So my stock lights were fogged to hell so I figured lets have some fun.

Making them into an open faced headlight with ram ports. Cutting lexan to cover hi/lo beam area. Had the idea that may help others who port their headlights. Rewire a 9003 bulb harness to our stock low beam spot and you won't lose your high beam.

This is where I'm at right now, paint coming soon.

Well this is different. I'd like to see where this is going and how it ends up when it's finished

Definitely interested. I've been pondering doing something similar, but keeping the stock clear plastic.

I cut out entire front. The final product will drop all the way back to chrome bulb housing.

I left original headlight plastic so they will mount correctly in vehicle. Chrome brezel and exterior headlight plastic will be blue, leaving only ram port and headlight housing original chrome.

9003 bulb should fit with minimal modification and allow both hi/lo to come from same location!

I did this to my old 1gb. I didn't go to the extent you did. I just literally cut the high beam section out of the head light, then soldered the low to the high, I think. Shit it was like 7 years ago. Anyways seemed to help a tremendous amount and also help keep engine temps down. It was awesome I was in high school end of story LOL.
