I was driving home last night and my HID's went out. I had to drive with my brights on to get home. I did notice that the regular lights would periodically flash on and off as I was driving. It did the same thing tonight and before that, Id never had any issues..........any ideas of what this might be? What should I look for? I checked the wiring/grounds and everything looked fine. Same with the fuses and I didn't see any water/debris where it shouldn't be. Thanks

They both went on/off (flashed) at the same time?

Ballast. check connections first to be sure. Why run Hid's? our OEM housings are not mae for them and they scatter light. I will just stay with my silverstars.

Car I just bought has HID's in it. Just changed to the 2gb headlights and it is horrible in those housings. Going to be going back to normal lights now. I found with my the connections on the kits can be tempermental to say the least. Seems like it always has to be plugged in a certain way sometimes backwards of what it should be because of polarity issues.

The on/off switch looks fine. I will check the grounds/connections again. These lights were on the vehicle when I bought it; If they didnt botch the wiring job I will probably just put OEM lights in it and avoid the hassle. I will let you know tomorrow when I check it out. We are putting a new turbo in tomorrow so I will already be working on it; Thanks guys!
