yes i have looked around quite a bit on there, the search button doesnt work as well as tuners does. Plus when i posted on there i never got any responses. Alot more people post on here. So thats why im trying to get help from tuners.

ok i got the logged now, does anyone see any immediate changes that need to be made. Also is there a reason why my o2 doesnt cycle as fast as in the demos on ecmtuning.com? Could that hint to a bad o2 or is there something wrong with the tune that creates this

you need to adjust your TPS that's one. You need to lower your deadtime to zero and lower global to 18. You need to unclick disable mafcomp with sd operation. You also need to go to the dash tab and lower your CEL from 5* to 2*. Then post a 1minute idle log.

alright will do, whats the reasoning for the lowering of deadtime and global? Also isnt the tps already adjusted???

alright here is that log with everything switched, the tps went up to 1% but i fixed that again with this log.

the new log the throttle should be fixed is it not? Also do you see any other corrections needing to be made?

by the way im more than willing to shoot someone some money via paypal to help me get a conservative tune done.

Yes we need to get the airflowperrev in check. You need to go to maf comp and raise the 0 and 50 hertz up let's try10% and blend the 100 into it so it's not a big jump. Airflowperrev on a warmed up MT car should be .25-26 at idle.

alright so i did the above adjustments but it did not change the airflow per rev up to .25. it made it .16 or so. what does this log show you

i had clicked save changes to ecu as they are made and adjusted them, ill do it again here in a second.

i keep adjusting the mafcomp but its not making any changes to the airflowperrev, if i lower it insane amounts it does but nothing other than that

nothing is changing when i change the mafcomp, check this log out

what can make it so that the airflowperrev doesnt change?

does anyone else have any help they can give?

oh shit i see, i was lowering it to -10% well do get the airflowperrev in check it was at like 60% adjustment

so when i tried correcting the mafcomp it lowered my combinedft to negative numbers. The combinedft seems to be locked in but for whatever reason the mafcomp is not working very well. Im still seeing like .15 from airflowperrev instead of what im supposed to be seeing which is closer to .25

can you verify that your base fuel pressure is at 43 psi and have you done a boost leak test? if so add about 10% to the 50 and 100 hz in the maf comp, then hit copy all to ecu. then let it warm up to full operating temp and log it again. then post it up . once we get the air flow per rev dialed in at idle. then we'll get your combined fuel trim adjusted using the fuel dead time adjustments. one step at a time and you'll get it.

The problem I am having is that when I raise the mafcomp it takes the combined ft and lowers it. I can't adjust destine any lower than it already is because of the injectors I am using

here is the log of it with the airflow per rev in check. When its in check no matter what i do to the fuel it still runs rich! its reading at full o2 voltage when its at the right airflowperrev. I didnt even bother taking it out with these settings becasue i know it wont drive right, I left it at 0 adjustments on the mafcomp to make it so that it is still driveable.

my question still stands can you verify the fuel pressure and boost leaks ? what kind of fuel regulator do you have? chances are if your running stock regulator with the 255 pump the pressure is probably higher than stock causing it to run rich when you adjust maf comp. just a thought

thanks man . I like to help out where i can. these cars and the issues with them are but a big yard sale jig saw puzzle. and i like puzzles ,even when they have a few missing pieces.

After doing some research on evo injectors i found something that might help. You need to go to your direct access and change your Injbatteryadj. In the InjBatteryAdj table in direct access, set the table like so:
Volts usecs
7 2235
9 1380
12 900
14 570
16 345
19 195

yes thanks to everyone its greatly appreciated. I havent checked for base pressure yet i do have a fuel pressure gauge. Ill try and find a place to tap it today and find out those readings. Also i have not done a boost leak test but its pushing 20psi no problem when i do boost it, which i dont do often because of the not so perfect tune. Also what was the reasoning for the change of voltage? I will try this today and get back on here but im also just trying to understand these things as they happen. Thanks to everyone helping out. If i can get someone to get me a reliable conservative tune, paypal money will be heading your way!
