ECMlink DSM link help /tuning

hey guys i just finished putting back together my car ...i need some help figuring out why my car wont idle and i checked for leaks ...other than a lil oil leak from VC and some coolant from the container i think it has a small crack in it everything else checked out okay ... i got it to start and run but it barely idles and runs like crap sputtering and bang bang bang from exhaust... im a total noob at tuning but if someone can help me get a base tune so the car runs right so i can at least drive it to the tuner please and thank you heres a log of my tune from what i could understand from the ecmlink videos... i cant get my airperrev done and timing seems out of line too ... i have 950cc fic 20g turbo stock maf

i also have hks 272 cams i know that changes airperrev thing

Mafcomp looks really odd, should be smooth. airflowperRev should be around 30 with the cams. Attach a log of the somewhat idle, the file given was just the config

Oh and confirm a boost/vac leak test before tuning.

Fuel looks ok, but MAFComp looks strange as mentioned. Post up an actual idle log.

You REALLY need a wideband and/or MAP sensor hooked up to ECMLink in order to get a proper tune.

WTF if anything I like to add timing not take it away, but that would be looked at later since the car cannot even idle at the moment. Andranik zero these for now.

Did you hold the idle up that high? Looks like the o2 sensor is dead since you locked it into open loop yet its still not cycling.

Not when the ECU is locked in open loop.

It's probably the typical mechanically-induced idle issues that we so often see on these cars, as described in the link that Victor gave you in post #7 above.

1. You might have blown your sensor ground (guessing by the -74* coolant temp). This is caused by an issue with the front o2 sensor grounding out. Pull the ECU and check this out.
2. Test the ISC (link in post #7).

If 1 and 2 test out ok:

3. Not sure why you raised timing in the lower RPM's. If I were you I'd zero out the timing sliders.
4. Take it out of closed loop and grab an idle log as best as you can. This way we can see what's happening with your front o2 sensor.


It looks like you're using an old firmware version of v3. I'd suggest upgrading to the newest.
