ok today i was driving and my belt fell off well my car broke the harmonic ballancer. do u guys know how this happened? it ripped the rubber off the balance so my pully flies all over.

also the car dosnt want to go into gear usless it is a lower rpm shift. anything over 3000 it wont shift. any help for this.

and another thing the car dies when it is warmed up and at low rpms or slowing down. i think its my idle speed control but not sure what it is.

im gettin really pissed off cause ive been chasing on problem after another and it never works for more than a day. please help me i need this to work!!!!

PLEASE tell me you arent driving on a messed up dampner. They will seperate over time, and I guess you didnt notice it going bad. Its recommended to replace them every timing belt change (which is EVERY 60k).

What happens when you try going over 3k RPM?

Your ECU could be in limp mode, and rev limiting you via spark, or fuel. Or is it that your trans will grind when trying to go in above 3k?

Does it ONLY die when its warm, or when its cold as well?

no im not driving it anymore it broke today so yeah.

when i try to shift over 3000 it will grind the gear or will only stay in nuetral.

and it only dies when it is warm. i think its the isc. but im not sure.

Does it die when you push in the clutch? Or just letting the engine slow you down? If your letting the engine slow you, then a good possibility is the IAC, I would test it to make sure it is working, if you have the ability to back probe the signal wire with a scope while its running to see if it is altering it, it will be a DC digital signal.
