Can anyone point me in the direction of some good ss allen head J-pipe bolts for a 16g? I didnt buy the install kit as I pieced mine together on my own, however the j-pipe I bought from Extreme Turbo Systems didnt come with any bolts. I have searched all over and it seems the only way you can get the bolts is by buying someones install kit. Any help here is greatly appreciated. Id like to find a place where I can pick up just the bolts ONLY.

HDR (home depot racing) supports DSM's. :D
i walked into home depot with my 16g under my arm and found the allen bolts i needed, while your at it get lock washers too...

did you find them? fastenal has alot of hardware!!! i belive the is a supporting vendor on here that sells nothing but nut and bolts that are ss...!!

I would use regular bolts that you fit a wrench onto unless you have a spare allen key than you can cut. When I put my J-pipe on, I had to cut one of my keys to fit inbetween the pipe and allen head bolt. I was using a driverside facing J-pipe if that makes a difference.

I have a Fastenal store local here but its a pain to catch them when theyre actually open. Their hours are way short and I cant count how many times I have stopped by only to find a sign saying "temporarily closed while making deliveries". They do have a good selection but theyre such a hassle to deal with.

I ended up using the standard style stainless bolts instead of the allen heads. Not only did they not have the socket/allen head style bolts in stainless at the hardware store, but I also am using a J-pipe that exits to the drivers side to mate up to my FMIC and realized that the allen head bolts would be near impossible to tighten because of the bend in the J-pipe. Thanks all for the help! One step closer to finishing this rebuild and getting her back on the road! :hellyeah:
