We'll in a nutshell I have a Small MHI 16G 49178 05200 turbo.. Im not sure on what to do cause the turbos still in good shape and I want to put it back on the car when I get the new head back on... I was takeing it off to get the head off the car to have it sent out and the line was to rusted i guess and just broke off .. so now im not sure what to do.. So I drill it out .. then find a way to get new threads in it or how do i get the little piece of the pipe thats still in there out.. without beating up the turbo...LOL im lost

For what it's worth i never run my mits turbo's with water. I always disconnect the water lines and plug them. I've never had issues and never blown a mits turbo. You must make sure you run the car for a minute after you drive hard though to cool the turbo down.

You can easily remove the broken portion of the bolt using an E-Z Out or screw extractor. The bolts are hollow, so they stretch easily....which is why they often break. The fact that they are hollow is convenient because there is no drilling needed to remove the bolt with the E-Z Out.

wow I didnt know you can run without water .. I thought it would kill it like in a couple months of driving hmm.. we'll i guess i'll do this if I can get it out without of effort then i'll hook it back up but if its a big deal then i'll just plug them up .. cause I already have a greddy turbo timer thats been on the car before I got it. so guess i'll do that.. Thank U GUYS for the INFO : )
