Headlight plugs connectors issues

Hey I had aftermarket projectors headlight housings in my vehicle when I bought it a couple years ago. Well, they are pretty foggy and really dim, so my friend gave me his 97 GSX stock headlight housings.

Okay so here's my dilemma, I went out and got the stock 9006 low beams for now (gonna do a strobe kit to the 9005 hi beam slots, and later doing HID upgrade to the 9006 slot).

My issue: The bulbs I bought do not fit the plugs on the harness itself. The housings I have don't have anything in there besides the hole where you mount the bulb itself inside. No extra plugs on there. Is there another connector that I'm missing that goes on these?

if so could I pick up them from any 2g eclipse/talons?

Is it the " |_| " vs. " |_\ " problem? Check your local chain auto parts stores for an adapter.

just wire up some new ones, get a starter get from like Home Depot for like 20$.

I got an adapter from advance auto. and used the plug from the old headlight housing.

Works good, now I can get my HID kit
