If you're going to be switching them in and out why not just make a unit like this.

That's genious dude. Did you make bolt holders (I don't know the term) to make that fab mount to the car or does it just snap into place?

Also how did you make it?

That's actually a factory headlight bucket so it's held in by 3 of the 4 factory bolts.

Basically cut up the factory light and fiberglass in the extension.

Yea that was my old valve cover. Running a different one now. Need to re-paint it badly.

Heres my headlight, I gotta still work on it...condensation is building up.

Did you just cut a hole in it? If so it'll fog up like a madman, not to mention you'll blow bulbs left and right as you drive at night in any rain. :nono:

Seal that thing up somehow.

I did this to an ould headlight. All your really need is a dremmel, sand paper, PVC pipe, and epoxy. Cut a hole the size of the tube, angle the pvc to match the headlight, seal it with epoxy to keep water and stuff out, sand it smooth, and add paint if you want to keep it looking clean. It's really more of a PITA.

Here's mine.

Ive seen a pic or two with holes goin through the headlight to the intake box. Are there any detailed pics or how tos that ive skipped over? I have an old headlight i wanna try it on. Do you think there will be a decent gain if i close it off real good? im also kinda worried bout driving in the rain if i did this cause rain would just be frced right in unless i rigged up some kind of plate for the air to go around. Thanks guys.
