gsx wont start.

so i was sitting in my car the other day letting it warm up then it just died, and it sparked under the dash near the computer, so i tried starting it again but it will only turn over, it's getting fuel but no spark?

possible computer shorted out, pull it out and look if its bad youll have no spark.

There is nothing inside the car that should spark and any sparks inside that you do see would be a bad thing.

Have you checked the basics.
Do you get a Check Engine Light for 5 seconds when you first turn the ignition on?
Does your factory boost gauge move to 0 before cranking?
Are all the fuses good?

cel does not come on for 5 sec. and the factory boost gauge doesn't zero out. but all fuses are good

Pull your ecu and look for any leaky caps. It will smell like fish too, its common in 1g ecus.

At this point it might just smell burnt.
It's no longer working and it's pretty common for the cap on the 12v input to short and burn through the circuit board on 90 ECUs if you don't have the capacitors changed before it happens.

You might want to start looking for a replacement.

Take pictures of what you find and post them.

alright i pulled the ecu, it smells burnt where the wire harness plug in. where do i find the cap for the 12v input?

Since you don't know your way around the ECU this would be a better route.
