Well i ordered 4 rotors for my car since the back two are SHOT!

so i told him I HAVE A EARLY 95 with venter rear rotors..

now i call them today to confirm.. he said i thought YOu ment YOu wanted drilled slotted..

I WAS LIKE WTF

so today ups delivers these WRONG rotors..

i know there smaller in width and diamater so there no way of making this work is there?

i have to drive 1000 miles this weekend.. and i have no rear brakes? you think the rotors would work for the weekend?

WHY.... <------- shouldint of been cheap and just bought from dealer

what seller did you order them from. The drilled/slotted rotors are better than stock and you should keep them! Put some ceramic pads on there as well! Good Luck!

Lol no man..

the stock rear rotors on my car are vented in the middle.. like front rotors.. if that explains it better..

he sent solid rear rotors.. which causes a problem in thickness :(

Yep, that sucks. There is a difference in the calipers and pads between vented and solid rotors. Looks like to make it work, you will need to get vented rotors or you might be able to replace the calipers to use the solids. I wouldn't recommend that but it IS an option... it would also be cheaper to just buy the correct rotors to make your trip and deal with the ebay seller when you have more time. I also don't know if there is a difference in the mounting bracket either, there very well could be. The info on the caliper/rotors I found is just from searching the Parts America website. I want CAPS!!!!

I used to work the parts counter at several auto parts stores so I have experience in deciphering the piss poor descriptions and part numbers. I hope this helps! Hell, being a DSM owner again, I'm thinking of getting a part time job doing it again!! :D

Good Luck! :thumb:

yup just got off the phone with advanaced.. with my dealer discount i can get

(Pads
Calipers
Mounting brakets ) Each side 60.00 without core.. so thats pretty good.. so 120.00 and anytime i change brakes in the future. it will be alot cheaper :)
