Small update. Car is still currently in storage. Hopefully a shop will get built soon. On an up note I'm currently working on getting the front diffuser/splitter built. Originally work was going to be done by me. Now however Philip and I are working with Dave(carbon fiber guy) to build us new units that are improved and removable. Should be super cool but it is going to take some time since they are being custom built . I'll keep everyone posted as things progress. So never fear my project still continues.

Would it be appropriate to ask what are your plans for the shop? I have recently been day dreaming a lot lately about the possibilities of having my dream garage, partly inspired by Tom's Turbo Garage and his new tool box and compressor review videos. I have been researching lots of cool things I'd want in a garage/shop and I am curious what you got in mind.

:thumb: on the front splitter, I think they are going to be great!

So my basic plans for my garage are this.

Two car carport
Three car garage
One RV type bay with a two post lift
Other two bays around 27 to 35 ft deep so I can have a work bench.
Maybe a loft apt above .
We will see.
That's my dream anyway and about all the city would allow me to build . Heck they might not let me build that much since I'm in the historic district. They have some strict rules.

Phhht!!! That's why I moved to the country.

Honestly my neighbor hood is really cool. It's the largest historic district in Texas so I want to make sure I build something that fits the area. I moved here specifically for the feel and look of the neighbor hood. It would be nice to throw up a huge metal building and start building my car but would be the wrong thing to do. If I can't do what I want on my lot then I'll just find a small shop else where if I have too. :)

One of the best threads I have seen here. Great job on everything.

You probably already know this but garagejournal.com would be a great place to gather inspiration for the exterior of your shop so it fits in the historical district.

Where im from in washington there is a company that rent or sell basically active use storage units that are outfitted with anything you want cabinets, lofts and car lifts. they are pretty badass not sure if anywhere else in the country have something like this, but might be worth looking into to see if there is something close to you. check out garage plus storage spanaway on google.

Great news! I need you in the garage again so I'm not the only one trying to figure out stuff. I don't know if me asking you car questions is rude because I'm teasing you with all the projects I am working on that you can't work on without a garage or annoying because you already did most of them :p

You've been super helpful and I always wish you the best. Keep us updated on the garage news.

All that attack! Splitter arrived in all it's carbon goodness. :hellyeah: There some tape residue on it still but who cares right?

Overall large front lip. 8" hanging out in front. It's big but it's a good fit.

Better bigger end fences built to work better with the new rear diffuser design.

Bottom side has Jabroc to protect it from contact. Adds some weight but it's much easier to replace than carbon.

In case you want to know what Jabroc is and why it's better than normal wood.

Jabroc® is a non-impregnated, densified wood laminate developed especially for a wide range of industrial applications including Motor Sport. The grade specially produced for the this industry is constructed to the highest density possible using thin veneers producing a dense, stable, high strength laminated board with excellent wear resistance.

Jabroc ® offers high stability, increased strength, stiffness and improved life when replacing hardwood, and on the other hand, reduced weight, shorter machining times, is non-sparking and non-conductive when replacing metals. Jabroc has half the strength of steel at only one fifth of the weight.

Jabroc ® is an established product and is in use world wide in all racing series including F2, F3, F3000, LMS, ALMS, Formula BMW, Formula Renault, Formula Superleague and others.

Can someone just tell me where I can get those camber adjustable control arms? LOL I have been looking everywhere!

If you are talking about the upper units they are no longer a product that SCP makes. Like Brian said. If your talking about my lower arms they are all custom one off units.
