So in order to run a gm maf you must have either a maf translator, booo, or dsmlink with their gm maf cable, hurray!!!
You cannot simply put the gm maf in and expect it to work. You need to have a way of tuning.
Also I would not spend $240 dollars on the maperformance gm maf, I don't think there is anything wrong with it but if you go to a local junk yard you can pick one up for less then $100. There is a list of compatible cars on this site somewhere, with a little bit of searching you will find it pretty easy. Hope this helped.

Yea thanks for the help I have a dsm link so I just need to get the cable and I'll try and look at a junk yard

Thank you

It doesn't really matter but if you want to vent your bov to atmosphere then it needs to be in between the bov and the throttle body. Not sure if there is a specific amount of space away from the bov is required but I always go safe and put it right in the middle.
