ok guys I will be getting my FIC 550cc and my AEM Wideband late this week. Hopefully I will be getting my car tuned next week. I will be tuning with a SAFCII. Now my question is. how much boost can I run with all my upgrades and with stock internals? thanks in advanced guys.:thumb:

Start tuning with the boost low, and then slowly advance until you run either as much as you want or you start seeing timing being pulled (e.g. are knocking).

will an afcII count the knock? if so that's what i have. I will be getting it tuned at a shop..dyno tune.

The AFC will not give you a knock count. You need a logger of some sort, and most only log ignition timing. So you have to log the timing and see if the ECU pulls timing [ means it is more than likely getting knock and pulling timing as result ]

I believe Evoscan will also work on your ECU [ 98 and 99 ] and you can log knock with it too. You'd need the Evoscan software and the cable they sell.
