I think you meant the s374, and it looks like it is a little too late for that hahaa..

I'm building the car to be as fast as possible. I don't race any particular classes just for fun and the street...

This past year on junk passes it was pulling low 10's on an HTA 88, running out of fuel. This year should be a different story...

yeah it would suck for the turbo to poke a hole in the radiator when the engine bucks. Your setup looks wicked awesome though. I hope to be where your at in the near future.

i mean't the s372, doh! posting on my iphone owns me... just the s372 is legal for the outlaw class (max 72.xx comp inducer). where the 4202 (as well as the s374 ) will put you into the HotRod class. Since your just building to be fast its all good!.


the true street class looks good too, 67.xx comp inducer limit, which is still 9 second material easily! however, were stuck with using dot radials, no bias plys or slicks! so no QTP's or MH Racemasters.. which really sucks, since the MT ET streets are legal but they weigh a ton and a hard on Tcases!

AWD cars: Slicks or bias ply tires are prohibited, DOT Radial tires only are permitted in a 225, 235, or 245 series tire. REVISED 1-26-10

they know that evo's with a 6765r and some qtp's will own that class, so they kill us with having to use radials.

Sorry for getting off topic, I wasn't sure what was up for discussion with this thread, since a turbo was posted, i figured maybe it was turbo size?

I was running an HTA 88 last year which is similar to a 6765. It had plenty of potential. If I was running a particular class that would be my turbo choice. It's got plenty of potential for sure.

I just want a monster. Something that still sees the streets and can go toe to toe with just about anything.

Thanks!!! Yes the bottom end is still the Eagle Ross combo you guys did. I'm still considering swapping for an I beam as I'm going to be hitting it with some spray.

I'm actually gunning for your times as they look to be the fastest times of a 2g auto awd.

Ill get some pricing this week on some good rods for you. I wouldn't push those eagles past around 500whp with the auto, most likely they will hold up but there will most likely be that one time that one lets go and takes out the entire shortblock.

Yah I think my Talon still holds the record for the fastest Auto 2g, best of luck to you, its good to see how far that car has come.

That is honestly what I'm worried about most is the bottom end. Which is a 2.3 Eagle/Ross combo that AMS did. It has already seen some power. How much I dont know but it did go 110 in a fairly heavy 2g thru the 1/8th.

On a side note. I hope to get to your level at some point. Your car is just INSANE!!!

Here are some better pics I just took. I spent a while shining up the compressor housing last night.

Without the Rad there is plenty of room. So I'm thinking I'll tuck an Afco Rad under the core support to help with clearance issues. So the Mishimoto Civic Rad is going up for grabs. SUCKS as it's BRAND NEW STILL!!!

9.3x @148 and this was at 3400lbs race weight. Yes that was with the smaller 6 bolt pins.

That gives me some serious hope!!! I'd like to get the car down to 3000 with me in it. And run similar times to that. I still worry slamming it with spray as I leave mine on the whole pass. I plan to be running mid to upper 30s for boost for now with a 65 shot to start but probbaly end up in the 75-100 range...

Any advice or words of wisdom you want to pass on since you have been there and gone???

Well after some conversations we figured that it would be best to swap to some I Beams. Thanks to Scott @ AMS the car will be sporting some very beefy Oliver I Beams.

When I tore the motor apart I noticed that we had some piston to valve contact causing a nice crack in piston #1 and some damage to #2 as well. Seems the OE valve springs didnt like life at 8800. HA!!!

So we now will have some Wiseco 1400 HD's hangin goff those Olivers.

We also got some nice Kiggly Valve Springs to help keep things nice this year. (NO KISSING!!!) Thanks Kevin and Erin!!!
