That it is. I have a 2g I am converting back to auto and hoping for some good numbers. But, it's a slow process. It looks like you have a good start to your project.

Yeah picked up a nice little 93 awd auto talon for cheap.

I get no enjoyment out of the 5spd. I mean at this point its a joke. I feel like ive dumped so much money into the car, but I continue to fool around with this stock trans that just dont hold together.

Its not so much taking the trans out, but when you kill a gear, and just that 80-100 dollar gear takes out 1000 dollars worth of other good parts it sucks. These glorified stock trans suck plain and simple.

I might be sending a gear set out to get face plated for the fun of it while I prep the other car since im still taking stuff out of it, and getting it how I want it. I have long passed paying for "built" 5spds and build them myself. My last trans never let me down, and it was pretty stock with fresh syncros, and a welded diff thats it.
