Gauge Cluster Removal Question...

I want to replace the face of my gauge cluster. I removed the top two screws but am haveing trouble moving the cluster out. Is there a way to remove it out w/o killing it.

there is 2 screws on the trim ring then 4 on the cluster itself. ( 2g ) after that its pretty much held in with force.
