I have the engine out if my car and the transmission is still in it. My question is my gauge.cluster Spedo and are reading 60 mph and 2 and a half grand. Is This normal?

I hope the battery is disconnected. If it is then no, it is not normal. My cluster sitting in a box next to me sits at 0.

Did someone mess with the needles? (like aftermarket gauge underlays)

Still think there is a problem. I never was in your situation, but that speed sensor ins't sending any signal the gauge.

the only connectors i have plugged in are the big plug for the transmission and the plug that connects the fuse box to the rest of the harness. also speed sensor for the trans and all the connectors on the interior fuse box Long with abs. also the engine is not in the car.
