So, Antman isn't able to drive his car for a bit. Being a good wife I'll take it out & keep it limber. I'd like to say right now that I've Never driven a turbo car before, but I do have a 500hp camaro so I'm not afraid of the acceleration that the turbo has to offer. My biggest concern is with the action of the acceleration. With my V8, stomp and go or you can pick whatever powerband you want to play in, they're stupid easy. I've noticed that Ant's eclipse is particular with what I'm doing with the throttle and will buck easily upon heavy acceleration around 5k rpms. We just rebuilt the motor, got it broke in nice, then rebuilt the automatic transmission and got it broke in. Total of maybe 2500 miles on motor and 1500 miles on trans, all new vacuum and boost/intercooler lines with no leaks. Still have stock 450cc injectors with large aftermarket fuel pump, AFR is 14.3-14.8 idle/cruise and 10.2-10.5 under boost. Only code showing on DTCs is for catalytic converter because we removed it but haven't deleted it. The Only thing I can seriously come up with is there's a screw loose between the driver's seat and the steering wheel. Seriously. I think I'm not working my foot properly and am causing the system to back pressure. My record is two vacuum lines, the boost regulator line and one intercooler line all blown off in one buck and loud bang. Then I had to limp it home to Ant. I won't repeat that conversation LOL. As stupid as this sounds, this is my newbie question: How do you operate the throttle on a modified turbo eclipse to get a good pull? It is 100% NOT the same as operating a N/A V8 LOL.

That's just it though, I'm so used to being able to play in whatever rpm range I want that I'll be honest in saying that I've never fully opened the throttle. I actually just ease onto it. Hence why I think it's my fault
