Newb ubgrading turbo

Hello, I just recently bought my first dsm. It's a 99 eclipse gsx. It had an evo 3 16g turbo on it, which I replaced with a forced performance green. Is there some kind of adapter for that j pipe or is there a special way to plumb in the intercooler? Any one know where to get the right size hoses to connect it? The car already had a punishment racing intercooler it was just set up for the old turbo.

You won't use the j-pipe anymore, I had a 16g and upgraded to an fp red, I just got adapters, and pipe to fit it, just have to measure everything out, and search for what you need it all depends on how your intercooler is routed so I can't really give you specifics.

Thanks that's what I needed to know if you still needed the jpipe or not. So you clamped a rubber connecter to the turbo and ran it to your intercooler pipes? How big was your outlet?

Custom intercooler setups are exactly that...CUSTOM..we are gonna need pictures and a lot more detail to help you in any way..going from a j pipe to a turbo that has a normal outlet on it is a big change and isn't usually thought out by someone doing a "simple" turbo swap..like laser said...measurements are key!!
