Installing a new fuel pump, Walbro 255, everything removed perfect. I removed the old fuel pump not knowing what size was in the car and how old it was.

The filter is on the opposite side:confused: Does this mean it will not work or is there a way to rotate the lower portion. Not my first time replacing a fuel pump but I never ran into this before.

Manufacturer Part Number: GSS341-857

Thanks
Mike

that is the new part number, there was a Walbro inside the hanger but different part number. I'm guessing its a 190 lph.

Maybe the previous owner installed a pump with the inlet/outlet on the same side, like a GSS342.

Regardless, the 341 is the right pump for your car. So as long as you don't have install/clearance issues with the filter sock you'll be fine.

Yea, similar to the 342 is what I removed. Thanks for the picture.

I will take pics tomorrow. Is it possible I have a FWD hanger? I have an AWD, vin & title prove this, so its not a FWD converted. Is it possible I have a FWD hanger in my tank?

I will grab pics of the hanger out later today. These are the pics I took late last night. Thank you.

Part # shows I had a FWD 190 lph fuel pump.
