I just removed my fuel pump on my 90 Talon TSi. As I was taking out the pump I heard a small "thud" but I whink it was the floater getting stuck. When I pulled the pump out there was no fuel filter on the end of the pump. I took out a flash light and looked in the tank and found nothing. Is it possible to run without one? Did I break it off and it is in my tank somewhere?

Im not sure what to think, I'll check again, but I did not see anything in the tank. Please reply fast as I have to get the car back together today. All input is appriciated, thanks :dsm: :laser: :talon:

[Edit]
For the wiring, it looks like I have to crimp termianls on both? On the vFaq it said I could use the ring on the ground but theres no where to bolt it down?
