I can't find my Hayne's and I'm no lunch,so I have a quick question...I'm going to replace my fuel filter today or tomorrow,I'm wondering if I can change or clean the filter in my fuel pump? Recently I upgraded my injectors to 450 from the stock 390 and the computer and fpr to match. Noticed sometimes when I get on the throttle the boost goes up but nothing else does...rpms/speed. Kinds hesitates then when I let off the throttle and ease on it then she goes. I didn't have a problem before I changed things over, and from the looks of it the filter has never been changed. Not sure about the pump.

Sweet thanks alot! I did find my Haynes, and I wasn't sure about the fuel pump filter, thought I would at least ask. Hope this fuel filter change solves the problem

hey besides those links he gave you. Don't forget that more fuel means you might want an safc if u don't have one. Also if it's hesitating something must not be set right/restricting/or to much fuel.
Something to keep in mind

Thanks dsmdragon...I did though change the fpr of my automatic,43 psi I believe to a manual,38 psi fpr to make up for the extra fuel. Do you have any links or preferences in brands of safc you could suggest? I am looking to go bigger with the injectors when I upgrade my turbo

Edit:did manage to get the filter changed, and going now for a test run

Well I've drove her about 20 miles or so,getting on the throttle here and there, and nothing like I described so far...I wonder because I changed the injectors that I didn't get something nasty in that old filter, some kind of crap? Seems good so far:thumb:
