i wanted to change my fuel filter for tune-up purposes but have absolutely no idea where to start... can you help me out or show me where a write up for this is (i tried searching and looked through vfaq)

Make sure you use two new crush washers. I learned that tonight the hard way. :thumbdown

Don't even attempt to remove the top banjo bolt while the filter is still in the car. It's really simple. After you remove the battery and all the other crap below it remove the line going into the bottom of the filter with a 19mm and a 14mm flare wrenches. Then disconnect the fuel line that goes into the fuel rail. Doing it this way is so much easier cause all you have to do now is take the filter with the fuel line still attached and put the filter in a vise to remove the banjo bolt.
