Hello, I really need help from someone who have a knowledge. So, I need a fuel pressure regulator for my 1992 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 2.0 DOHC 16V FWD 150KM. I'm not sure which FPR will fit my car. I will be very grateful if someone could help me😁👍

Not sure what you're asking. You need a regulator from a non turbo 2.0 car. If you're asking if a turbo car will work the answer is no.

Oh, sorry maybe my English is a little bad. I'm looking for a regulator that will fit in my car. Like maybe can someone give me the part number or maybe a link to buy one. My mechanic and Mitsubishi dealership said that the part number is MD124334. But in the description on eBay for these parts, several listings said that it was only for the 1993 Eclipse.

It's a bit strange, did Mitsubishi change anything in 1993 that had an impact on the regulator change? Also from what I can see, the appearance of this regulator is different from mine. In mine, these tubes protruding from it are not equal, however in the photos of this part they are equal. I don't get it. I'm surprised because both my machine and the Mitsubishi dealership said that this is the part number that should fit

If you take the hoses off you'll see the inside diameters are not equal. One line is fuel and one is air. Different thickness hoses. The pic you show looks correct. The turbo units are externally identical so they do physically bolt on but would not be correct for your car.

None of us turbo guys are experts on non turbos 🤣 😂 🤣

But from what im seeing here on tuners. The n/t runs 43.5 psi. Which is the same pressure as the 1g auto turbo cars. The manual turbo cars use 38 psi.If Pauley says they don't bolt on tho, they probably don't bolt on
Hope this helps

Oh sorry, I didn't mean equal, I meant parallel. Maybe you have an idea what regulator will fit my n/t?

ASA shows 3 part numbers for a D22A
1988.05.01 to 1994.05.1 MD124647 (MNHFL4M, MNHFL9M Turbo Manual FED and CA)
1988.05.01 to 1994.05.1 MD124334 (MNHML4M, MNHML9M NA Manual FED and CA)
1990.06.02 to 1994.05.1 MD165859 (MRPFL4M, MRPFL9M Turbo Automatic FED and CA)

Looking at various pictures the original factory part is like the second one in your pictures but many of the aftermarket ones has like your first one where the pressure reference port on top is aligned with the fuel return line. The original part is discontinued from Mitsubishi so you have three choices, used, aftermarket, or an adjustable FPR and fitting for your fuel rail.

Not quite. It will bolt on but the pressure is wrong.

For 1Gs, the N/T FPR is 47 psi. Turbo auto is 43 psi. Turbo manual is 36-37 psi. That’s the explanation for the three part numbers.

So here's rock auto and advance. Otherwise I'm sure there's 50 in the classifieds.

I see what you mean about the two hose nipples pointing in different directions. I don’t think that will matter so longs as the regulator holds the right pressure, and you can physically connect the hoses without kinking them.

I don't know that much about car mechanics, so I was worried if it would work well. Thanks a lot for your reply👍
