I just bought a set of Denso 660s and one of the pintle caps are broken. Does anyone know if they are a standard cap, either from all Denso? Or do I need to find the pintle cap from a 660 injector?

I'm trying to work it out with the seller, as for the price I paid for them, they should've been wrapped in more then just a shop towel. I just wasn't sure if you can buy that part itself or not.

Any ideas on where to get them, or who I could contact for a replacement.

I was told Napa and I stopped in and they had nothing. I want the exact pintle caps for these injectors instead of just trying to make something work.

Contact whoever makes the injectors you have.

When I had to get new ones for my PTE injectors they sent me a kit that had the caps and the 8 seals for $15.

I've been trying to find the same thing for my 720's. One of them did the exact same thing under normal use in my car in less than a year. I found one on a junkyard injector and swapped them only to have another one cracked by the next time i pulled them to swap out to my 1000's (instead of total remapping i'm just going from 1k's to 720's to swap from e85 back to pump gas and vice versa..working great so far :) )

Bad thing is i don't know the brand of injector because where the people that sold them painted them with black spray paint (they either came from roadrace, bushur or extreme..i forget but they were the only places i'd buy from back then so it was one of them)

Mine look almost exactly like that so if you find the caps in a kit will you pass on the info?

I know I'm just a little late with the reply, but I just bought a used set of Denso 660's, and the seller told me one of the injectors needed a pintle cap as well.

I found a website that looks to specialize in all types of injector parts. I paid $.49 for each new cap (paid more for shipping but haven't received anything yet) & about $8 for faster than usual shipping.

Here's the link to the site & I hope it helps anyone looking for injector parts: Injector-Rehab Fuel Injector Cleaning Services
