Injector Pintle Caps

I did some searching and saw one thread about pintle caps not making any difference. I finally got my 390cc injector in the mail. Openned the box and noticed there wasn't a pintle cap on it. Just wondering what you guys say about this not having one on it. Would it cause any problems?

No DSMlink. Have an automatic tsi which have 390cc injectors. One shit the bed on me a few weeks ago so HardcoreAndy let me borrow a 450cc. A guy on here sold me a 390cc injector. I heard the same thing. They just protect the pintle. I know guys with other cars take them off. Not sure why. I dont see how itd be restrictive. Unless they took them off for weight purposes
