I did some searching and saw one thread about pintle caps not making any difference. I finally got my 390cc injector in the mail. Openned the box and noticed there wasn't a pintle cap on it. Just wondering what you guys say about this not having one on it. Would it cause any problems?

why the F--- did you get 390's?????????What I found and was told is that it just protects the nozzle from heat

No DSMlink. Have an automatic tsi which have 390cc injectors. One shit the bed on me a few weeks ago so HardcoreAndy let me borrow a 450cc. A guy on here sold me a 390cc injector. I heard the same thing. They just protect the pintle. I know guys with other cars take them off. Not sure why. I dont see how itd be restrictive. Unless they took them off for weight purposes ROFL
