What i did is go to any fuel injector shop local to you and have em pull out there box of pintle caps. we eventually found one that fit!

I think the dealership sells a set. Also, if you have to, you can run without them. The caps are just there to protect the pintle itself, and wont cause any weird performance issues if they aren't there.

Those aren't anywhere close to matching for an EVO VIII injector and not a good match for any of the other factory injectors. On the E8 injectors the pintle cap is largely a spacer, the bottom is totally open.

I'd call Cruzin Performance and see if he has sourced the real caps for E8 injectors.

just call the # on their site and give him the part # off the injector and he will tell you which one will fit your injectors

Sorry to play thread necromancer, but someone said that running without these seals wouldn't cause any performance issues. Would the same be true if one was cracked when it was put in? Long story short, I just put in the SAFC, logger and wb02, and I can't get the damn thing to run for anything. So, I started narrowing down the variables, and since I struggled so hard with the injectors (put in at the same time as the SAFC), I thought maybe I had cracked one of those seals and THAT was preventing me from running past 2.5k without a stutter. I guess the moral of the story is, if they ARE cracked and that DOES cause an issue, would I be able to pull them off and run without them? Or would the seals not even be a part of my problem in the first place?

oh for all those that end up here, i emailed rich last week, no pintle caps for evo injectors, he said he didnt carry those...
