Found another DSM

Ok, I've kept looking, ( ya didnt seem to like the idea of that 93 eclipse n/t ) And I found another car I think is good.... Its a hell of a lot more and still non-turboed! I found a 95 2g Eclipse n/t w/ a manual... The best part was the engine was fully rebuilt less than 200 miles ago... They are asking 3k for it... what do you say???

The story of my dsm was i found one about 500 miles away. Drove down to look at it, bought it, ended up leaving it at a hotel for a month(the HG was blown and couldn't tow it) rented a crappy UHAL transport thing and towed it with my shitty pathfinder with over 200k on it all night long. Was fun cause it was super icy and I had to back the tsi on the transport just so the hitch wouldn't drag on the ground. I tell you thats bad for steering. But hell i would have gone three times that far for it. Really turbo and awd is what makes a dsm unquie. Without that they're just another outdated POS car.

yeah the way it went for me was i had been looking in the paper for a dsm for months ahead of my 16th bday and i was getting tired of looking because i didnt see any turbo dsms...so i said wutever...and i went and i test-drove this 90 laser n/t and i was like hey thats kinda quick (first car i drove besides my parents) then he sold it to some other guy..so i was pretty bummed..a couple days later the DSM gods put a ad in the paper for a 93 talon tsi AWD, and i went and lookd at it...payd 2300 cash on the spot. drove it home and oh my god i damn near creamed my pants. it was a glorious day. i'd do it again.(i had to go 64 miles to go find it.) also a little random thing i found out the other day my car was assembled in jeanau alaska !

When I had my first gst, over 2 years ago, I seen the car I am driving now.. Going up the main road in my town with an older man driving it, And some smoke coming out of the exhaust. I followed him home :laugh: and told him i'll buy it right there, I liked the way it looked. He was 40 something years old and the car was completly stock except for some reason he was into loud music. Anyways, He refused my offer and parked it in the garage. 2 years later I see an ad in the paper and go with my friend to hopefully make him buy this 92 tsi that was in the paper. Turns out it was the same guy/car! My friend said he'd think about it so I went back an hour later with cash and bought it :laugh:
