Found another car.***Update*** ANOTHER car!

I was not able to go to VA this weekend because my sisters cat was sick and she doesnt want it to die while we gone. But my dad called and told me that my brother in law is taking me out tomorrow to look at eclipses. Well, i was looking on autotrader and they have a 1999 Eclipse GS-T silver, auto (my dad wants me to have auto for first), chrome wheels and 56k miles for $9,988. Here is some pics. We know the people that work at the delarship because we have looked there before, but here it is.

Its an awesome car. Its a MUCH better deal than what i was looking at...I am trying to talk my dad into letting me get a turbo, i told him that insurance was about the same as the GS. I really hope I can get a turbo. I would jizz myself if he let me. Alright guys, give me your opinions. My dad said to look for cars between $7,500-$9,500. He will be financing my car through his work union, the new job he just started. I cannot wait.

I'm glad to see you sticking to your guns on the 2GNT here. Considering you could save up a couple grand and put an HRC kit on it and be faster than that GSTauto in the long run (unless it's modded).

Thats what I have been trying to say all this time. I am standing my ground. NT it is!

If you can't have a turbo, why get a Neon powered DSM? Not trying to bash DSMs, but the turbo makes it worthwhile! 140hp ( probably 100whp ) in a 2800lbs car isn't fun. A mid 90s prelude is an excellent non turbo choice that gives you a better plateform N/T wise. Even a Foxbody mustang with a 5.0 isn't all that fast stock, but its got tons of potential. Just because its free doesn't mean you have to make a bad choice. Any VTEC Honda would be a good choice. Once you drop 4,000$ or so on a turbo ( you will ) you will have the performance of a lightly modded GS-T. 4000$ on the right Honda will get you farther than that amount on an N/T DSM. Or get a Neon. Same motor and they weigh less. How about you get the GS-T, but you are not allowed to swap turbos, that should limit you pretty well.
