first off i have already searched and didn't find the answer i was looking for.

i am getting ready to buy a 97 talon with some supporting mods(still has some work to do) the guys giving me a fp big t-28 with the car. what whp do these turbos push. i know fp has gotten into the high 11's but thats unlikely to achieve. basically how hard is it to get this turbo to push 300+whp on an awd. I'm just looking for a quick streetable daily driver. hopefully mid to upper 12's or should i sell this and go with a evo 3 or 20g? i know what the 20g is capable of and further down the road this may be an option. heres what on the car.

You will probably want to run more then 15 psi on the street (once you get fuel mods, logger & something to tune with). Im not exactly sure as I have the evoIII which flow abit more, but I would think at 15 psi you be in the 250 whp range & @ 20 psi you would probably be close to the 300 whp range (with a proper tune, which makes a huge difference), but then again this is just bench racing.

bench racing fine for now. im just talking 15 psi driving back and forth to work and for just driving around. i want to keep the boost down somewhat for less wear and tear. although i could just keep it out of boost but i know how i am. tuning wont be a problem, i know somewhat how to tune and my brother can tune well. he had a 400+whp del sol and my cousin used to own a shop. i was just getting a general idea of what to expect and whether i should sell the turbo and get a bigger one or if ill be happy with the t-28. for me i beleive the turbo will be good, atleast for the time being. plus i like the idea of a quicker spool, i hate turbo lag. thanks for the help
