Chicoutimi,
Ok, so my car has a 14b and is set at 16 psi, has k&n and a 2.5 turbo-back exhaust w/o cat.

On the butt dyno, I can feel i'm loosing some power by 3rd gear, The only cause I can see is my SMIC probably heatsoaking.

So here we go: Is there respectable benefits to put a good FMIC kit on my car or am I just wasting my money and the problem is elsewhere?

Thanks for useful info

I FELT a gain with my ssac fmic kit on ~18psi. I think for under $200 it was well worth it. But are you ready for one before fuel mods? You can still make decent power on the stock sidemount, but not with a stock fuel system.

Yea now theres no question that you can make a lot of power on stock side mount, ive done it myself, but this is one of those why wait things. He'd have to get one anyways, and its one of the best things he can do right now imo.
