The PI stuff is good...when it works. Your smaller cam selection and 2g head will help it get on the converter. I have ran both the 6 and 7 in cars and haven't seen ill street manners or issues with trans temps as long as you run a good cooler.

Yeah if it’s not going into any kind of gear you’ve got a mechanical issue. If you made a pull and shut it down could be anything from Valvebody to major damage. Drain the fluid and see how it looks. Pull the pan and check the magnets.
