Constructive criticism, should have run the center 2 ports to the front of the collector. Would be less snaking around and equaler length.
I see what your saying......Im gunna be doing another manifold here shortly soon, im gunna keep improving.....try anyway

Want a couple pointers?

1.Bevel every joint.
2. i personally try to stay away from tight radius 90's at all costs when ever possible. They are about twice the cost of a long radius, nothing really wrong with it other then that
And it's a sharper turn for exhaust.

Looks good though for a first try

I tryed to bevel the staight sections with my grinder....i hear they sell a tool to bevel. Pipe more effectively

A belt sander or an angle grinder with flap wheel works fine no need To get fancy on bevel tools when youve only Made one manifold... i dont even have fancy tools For that cause it's a waste of money.... Is there any reason jmf sold you all tight radius? And how much did they cost? You can get long radius from one of our vendors ace race for 6.50ish I believe. tight radius are usually 14 each off the top of my head

Your straights dont look beveled at all.

If you look at the joint u can see some material i took off... i gave up as i could get an even bevel..instead Just left a small space + or minus the size of the filller rod. I did a sample piece and pulsed the pedal. I got good penetration considering its sch 40. Do you really get 100% penetration on your manifolds?

Couldnt*.... Like I said, this was just practice, everything was purged and got good penetration. All manifolds ive seen appeat to be fusin welds and are not completely penetrated through the parent material.

Oh no, i got those tight from a seperate website. They were cheap actually....7-8 bucks a piece. I purchased this at the ass end of my build... the saw and jig that is. The next manifold i plan on taking my time and designing something

If u look that the picture with the turbo hanging off you can see what im talking about, I removed material off of most most of the straight sections.

Im gunna run the manifold on the next dyno trip to see how she performes for shits n giggles before i switch to auto

Is that another project car you have there! Nice!
Guy contacted me Looking for parts, Im gunna try to convince him to make a build thread. He came over and left with a bunch of stuff, including the manifold i built. Im looking forward to doing some work on this beaut. Its nice to see guys doing new things.
