first time with dsmlink and my car wont run it just spits and sputters

Installed dsmlink v3 lite, changed coil on plug primary ignition wires, inverted cas and the car does nothing but spit and sputter then dies. unplugged the ecu and switched
wires back to normal and it runs fine off of the maftranslator. Whats going on?

You need to make sure your fuel pressure is correct (activate fuel pump with link and car off for a quick and easy check). Then make sure your injector settings are correct, which they look to be (but you might need to increase deadtime).

Your front o2 doesn't seem to be cycling at idle. Have you replaced it recently?

Add CombinedFT to your logged values and see how that % looks at idle and cruise. Then adjust your fuel settings based on that.

fuel pressure is 42, and that 02 sensor has been in there since i bought the car. should i get another one? And im reading about combineft right now, thanks. is my timing and everything okay?

I wouldn't be worrying about timing just yet. Worry about getting the car idling and cruising first, and then you can tackle WOT fuel and timing.

As for the front o2 sensor, just start the car, let it get up to temp, and see if the sensor oscillates between .05 and .95. If it does after it gets up to temp, you're fine. But if it sits on .04 or so, then it's dead. You can also check this while cruising on the highway - it should oscillate as well.

alright ill check it out in a few. Its on jackstands right now, and i had the hood open i got my dad to 3rd pretty hard and when he let off of the gas it shot a 2 foot sream of something out of the bov. what could this be just oil in the ic pipe
