Finishing up my transformation parts list: ....recommendations?

Custom FMIC with short-route piping
Greddy Type S
2.5>3in megan downpipe>Greddy evo2 testback
Greddy profec spec b II Greddy TT
Pocketlogger on a m505
Magnecores and NGKs
Walboro 255 (not installed)


And am planning on transforming my car at AMS this winter with:
FIC 650cc injectors
Titanium lifters
Polished valve cover
AFPR
SAFC2 A/F
Fuel rail?

Cold air shield/ flow tube (from stock sidemount location over intake)?
gm mas
gm maft

tokico illuminas
eibach pros
Camber kit/washer trick?
suspension bushing kit
rear sway bar (19-20mm)
Sway bar bushings (all)

shortly after: rims and tires (I plan on breaking everything in over jan/feb when I don't need to boost anyway

Once the car starts to get tired I will probalby throw a huge trim turbo on it and gun it hard, I've also been thinking about a 25 shot now and rocking it 100/150 later.

Anything with a ? next to it I'm not sure if I want to get at the same time.... but if I don't I probably never will. I'm looking for recommendations on what I am already looking at and Recommendations for anything else I should/shouldn't get. Also.... with the new tranny/suspension/clutch stuff do you think my car will drive like new? Obviously subject to alot of things, but what kind of 1/4s do you think I will be able to run?

...and yes, I probably will be wishing I had a GSX.... but at least I'll be able to roll with my old mafia boss' (long story LOL 911 turbo on the highway
 
Do you guys think I should get an exhaust manifold or just stick with/port the stock one?
 
i'm certainly not an expert but if you get the SAFC2, do you need the GM MAF/MAFT as well? wouldn't one of those be enough? i think they basically do the same thing but the SAFC does more.

Ive read about better spool up, something I was going to miss with the 16 over the t25, and AMS said they like to tune AFC and then tune with the MAFT, rather than using MAFT as the primary tuning source.

I want to, but I need to not have a computer in the car. A palm, safc, and an ipod are just about enough.... besides, I have a G4 pbook and NEVER want to see a 400mhz ibm again!
 
Well you might not know this but a palm pilot can tune dsmlink and you only need to have it in your car when you are tuning all of the settings are saved into the ecu.

I also really wanted to just get everything done, get the post break-in tune up and be good. If my battery loses power I don't want to have to reprogram anything....
Not understanding DSMlink very well is it hard to load a saved image to the ECU? can you?
This would be a bit more sleeper-ish and I like the idea of everything going on inside the ECU and not piggybacking as much, but reprogramming every time I lose power to be back to "normal" (though I know injector settings/etc will be ok after power loss) doesn't seem like too much fun.

WOW!!!! Looks like I am going to be a busy bee!!! 2g MAS and sAFC will work fine man. No real need in spending money on a Maft setup, Id suggest buying a DSMLink before that.

As long as you save your settings, all you have to do is re-load them, which is just a few clicks. Don't be so lazy and skimp on the most important aspect of the car - tuning/datalogging. Get dsmlink, you will be very happy you did :thumb:
 
ok i saw a few things. 1 was 650 cc injectors. No way in hell will you need that with a 16g. 550s will work fine. Then i saw you wanted to throw a huge trim turbo on... and i saw nothing of a built motor. That is not smart. Piss on the palm n all that, just get a dsmlink. If you plan to spend money on the gm maf, you should plan on breaking 450whp cuz otherwise its stupid for that money. Your setup seems to be good other than that. But it all comes down to how much power you plan on making with that 7 bolt im assuming you have.
 
From what i understand the 1g dsmlink will actually have a save feature on it saving you settings when your battery dies.
 
If you get dsmlink you wont need a afc,that dsmchip(stutterbox),nor will u really need that maft setup. minus all those mods you could get a dsmlink for like the same price if not lesser. DSMlink has been by far the best investment in modding my car. Yes it resets ur battery dies but damn you make it sound like your battery dies alot and that it is really that hard to reprogram like someone said just a few clicks(if that).
