420A Finally!!! 2G 420a a/t to m/t complete and running!

I had trouble finding which wire to bypass the neutral safety switch, but I finally found it and it starts with no problem! Now, the only problem I have is the clutch...it has to be on the floor before I can put it in gear, and I can barely move my foot and the car will pull....I think I need to bleed it a little more...any suggestions? Also, I used some valvoline gear oil for the tranny...should I use something else?
I will post on here the wire you must ground to bypass the neutral safety switch for anyone that attempts the swap later on..I had a world of trouble finding it for a 2g FWD...

For the tranny, i would use like a dexron transmission fluid, ive heard of poeple using like gear ail or rear end oil, but i believe the best is transmission fluid

You know what, im sorry, i was thinking a/t, but u put a m/t in, im not sure what they usse in the m/t, i have an a/t, once again sry for the bad reply

Pennzoil Synchromesh is the best IMO for MT

that clutch problem sounds like your master cylinder needs adjustment at the push rod that connects to the clutch pedal.

Yeah, you turn it counter clockwise I think it is. Real pain in the ass as it is under the dash, but you were able to put the pedals in so you should be able to figure it out.

Im kinda new to this dsm deal but i like alot. I have a 95 talon tsi turbo and just alst weekend the tranny went and now its sitting on a flatbed next to the shop. Since i need a new trans anyway would it be a pain in the ass still to make it m/t nstead of a/t. If so would anyone recomend a shepp tranny or one from tre??
