Ive already read all the threads involving the FDwheels on a dsm this is a question on whether or not putting on rwd rims will in fact have a negative effect on my wheel bearings axles, etc. I read in one of the threads DEFIANT had mentioned something about rwd rims being designed differently and for of course rwd cars. i just want a little more info on that. Im currently bidding on a set of fd rims on ebay and the specs on the tires are as goes. the rear rims have 245 50 16 tires on them while the front has 225 50 16, now i plan to put the thicker tires in the front of the car (gst) im wondering will the 245 tires conflict with anything? im hoping i wont need the wheel spacers. Any info is appreciated thanks

Your going to need the spacers to make the FD wheels work on your car im surprised you didn't know that already, and with that said they'll work just fine i know several people who run FD wheels with no problems.

yeah i knew i was going to need spacers, i just wanted to know more about them. The FD wheels are pretty wide from what ive seen. I didnt win the auction anyways...but i would like to get a set so if anyone has a set of 94 and up fd rx wheels id be willing to pay. but i do appreciate the replies, thanks!
