Just wondering how fast people have gone with the "crappy" stock 7bolt.

I went 10.54@ 134.4 on my first pass tonight and then got booted for having no cage....:(:(:(:( Looks like I'll be making one this weekend and having another go at it sometime next week.:hellyeah:

Just curious as to how far people have taken them and if I have any competition.

sounds awesome man!!!! (congrats) what type of 60's u cutting on those Hoosiers? I remember you telling me u had some trouble getting them to hook.

Thanks, that's what I wanted to hear! Guess ill be turning up the boost.....I kinda want to set the bar a little higher, there's more in it for sure.

And no I haven't really gotten it to come out like I would like it to yet but its getting there.
 
Your car inspires me. I have a 95 Tsi stock block 7 bolt with 150k miles on it. I'm running an HX35 at 28psi. I have yet to bring it to the track, but I'm running street tires and hope for at least an 11 second pass. Oh and I'm auto.
 
TRE #3, quartermaster clutch, prothane suspension bushings, prokit on stock shocks...that's about it.

It made 465whp just before going to the SO a few weeks ago. There he was running 10.7's.

God if my car only weighed 2700 lbs... !! Good stuff man. Whats the record for a full weight street car on street tires?
