This will seem slow to you all but when I had a '92 Eclipse GS w/ short ram intake and muffler I ran 16.3 @ 89mph.

The best bang for the buck car that I have ever drove was a '92 GSX (back in '99-'00) with the following mods:

"Drop in K&N" with cut can $40
BR 2.5" cat back $280
BR 2.5" test pipe $50
Hallman MBC $50
Boost gauge $50
Upgraded Fuel pump ($100, used)
Gutted MAS (free)

Total mods: $570

At ~19psi of boost, the car ran 12.71 (and I do not remember the trap speed).

Is their no tech inspection @ the rock?

In Colorado @ bandimer if you have an oil leak you can't leave your car in the parking lot, let alone put it on the track.

I dont know if coolant matters but I went to coastal plains in jacksonville, nc and before I left for the 1.5hr drive the car had perfect fluid sealing but when I had gotten there I had one hell of a coolant leak, but not too bad to where you couldnt pull off a pass before over heating but it was bad enough to see it falling out during the run (as my friend says) and nobody there seemed to care, but then again I was just pulling 13.* sec passes leaving lovely lines of coolant down the track with pro drag cars doing test and tune runs behind me. :coy:

I dont know if it matters but I ran this on my red GST years ago.

9.1 @ 98mph (this is by memory)
14.1 @ 101mph

This was on a 95 gst w/ 96k miles on stock motor, drag radials, turbo xs bov, tokicos, sway bars, k&n filter w/ metal adaptor MAF plate, mbc set at 18psi on 116, and a few free mods done.
