Fast and Furious 420A NON TURBO!!!

I know everybody on this site has seen the awesome movie "The Fast and the Furious" probably several times. I have noticed several mistakes on that movie, and one that i noticed last night while watching it, was that one of the main cars, the the green Eclipse is not real!!! The car is either an RS or GS! If you watch the movie, go to the first streest racing scene where brian spilner(paul walker) is standing next to his car, and torreto(vin deisel) comes over and ask to look under his hood. When the hood opens, pause the screen. Look at where the optima battery is placed, the header/manifold, the fuse box, the head, sparkplug wires, and the biggest throw off....look at what side the cold air intake comes up on. The motor is a 420a my friends, not a 4g63. Also, not only is it a 420a but its a 6 speed 420a! In the first few minutes of the movie, when it first shows the car and he max's it out in the parking lot, watch and listen to how many times he shifts the car. Haha, its more than five times! I just thought that i would point that out, and let everybody know that if you were drooling over that car...haha its not as fast as you may think it is! Well, i got to go brag to my buddies that my car is faster than the main car on the Fast and the Furious!

It also jumps from a steady 120mph to 140mph almost instantly after he shifts into like 8th gear.

Yea I thought everyone new the car was fake and plus 420a's cant be as fast due to they are front wheel drive. All the other cars like the mustangs where all fake. This guy bought the saleen mustang that was on the show to find out it was just a stock mustang, but a saleen clone.

Oh, and the FWD has nothing to do with why a 420a will never be as fast as the 4g63, there man. the engine code, and the drive-type aren't correlating pieces of info, neccesarily. the gst is FWD and plenty fast. (4g63)

Well I disagree with you. I believe the 420a can put out good amounts of power with a good turbo set up. Ive seen turbo 420a's with only 6psi and killing 4g63 with 15+psi. Just madders how u build and tune the motor. So I believe the reason it will be slower is due to it being fwd.

Ok thats like saying a t-25 will out flow a t3/t4 at 6psi...which most 420a's have in thier kits. So just cause someone runs 15 psi on a gst doesnt mean the 420a is going to have as much potential as the 4g63t. Like I said 15psi could be a on t-25, nothing that impressive

By the way, I've noticed most turboed 420a's on this forum are T3/T04b's not t-25's

Sorry but I find that hard to believe. OR the people in the gst cant drive. Im not saying you cant make power with a 420a but stock vs stock not even close. You can make any motor make power with the right parts.
