Hello everyone. I need help deciding which wastegate to use and I can't make a decision between either precision 39mm or tial 38mm. The thing is precision has a vacuum nipple and I can adjust it with MBC, also it comes with all the spring needed and it's a bit cheaper. Tial on the other hand is a better known brand and is considered very reliable, but It doesn't come with a connection for the vacuum hose so I guess the only way to adjust the boost is to keep changing the springs all the time, right??? It does come with a complete spring set also, but it's a bit more expensive than precision. And I also don't understand the necessity of the water cooling on a 38 wastegate. So I came to you guys to help me with decision, cause I couldn't find anything similar on the forums. My main consern with the tial is the vacuum adjustmen is it there?Because I couldn't find any info on that.Thanks.

The tial does come with a fitting to hook a boost controller up to. It also comes with a full set of springs. Also the water cooling is optional you don't have to use it. I have the tial some I'm partial but I think you can't go wrong with it.

Tial MV-S is clamp fixed and also water cooled capacities ( good for autocross or eavy use )
MV-S

Tial F38 is bolt fixed
F38

Both Tial work the same as Precision for the boost control.

Spring kit is not needed.
You need to decide wich base boost you want and install the corresponding spring.
And use your MBC for adjusting your goal.

Its been a few years sense I ordered a new tial waste gate. Are you sure it comes with a full set of springs? Meaning multiple different springs. Im pretty sure it just comes with one spring. But I may be wrong.

yes mine came with all the springs and I hooked up the water cooling using the stock turbo coolent lines

That's good news for me. I'm not planing to run more that 20. I'll probably use a 1.2 bar spring. But they both come with complete spring set. So what should I go with tial or precision????. I herd alot about tial.

Those links were great, thanks Coltixim.

I have a 16g, I'll use the punishment racing o2 with atmospheric dump, and tial 38mm(maybe precision still deciding). The thing is I have a mishimoto fan shroud with 2 fans and I don't know if it will fit, the radiator is mishimoto regular not dual it's a little wider than stock radiator. Anyone got ideas. I hate making big decisions. Also I'm gonna order a fp manifold today for the set up can't pass it for 175 it's a great deal. :) I don't mind eating chefs boyardee for the rest of the month for that manifold.

Im using the PR with recir dump and the FP exhaust manny...but using 2 12" fans with shroud

Wow talking about a close call, you have recirculated o2, do you think vented o2 will work. Cause we basically have the same set up???

Im running a tial 38 (f38) paired with a punishment o2 housing atmospheric dump. I have a mbc hooked up and a 8 lb spring i believe. holds a solid 15 for me. As far as fitment goes, I dont know, my turbo melted my ac fan so i took it out... plan on doing slims soon but no issues yet.
