Stupid 38mm External tial wastegate question

ok i have a somewhat stupid question...ive got a proted 2g manifold and i had a tial 38mm wastegate flange welded on to it im not 100% sure but if i put it on it might hit the radator by almost nothing... my question is this if i put the the dump tube on the valuve part of the gate and the open part on the manifold will it work ok? if i do this i will not have any room problems thanks for the input and help guys

Your post isn't very clear as to what you are trying to do, but if i am correct then you are wanting to put it on backwards? NO it won't work.
 
damit yes thats what i was asking....god i hope it fits...
 
No you cant you will kill your wastegate. The exhaust pressure and heat will go up the valve guide and melt/tear the diaphragm and it will not operate.
