I have an ebc,i have 2 fittings for the wg, which one do i use and what do i do with the other one?

you can just vent the top and use the side port from vacuum before T/B. The top is mainly used with EBC..

If you have EBC then use both ports. get 2 different vacuum sources before the T/B. I'm using the same W/G and the side port is from lower I/C pipe and the top port is from the T/B elbow. make sure you set the B/C to the correct setting as some have settings for internal/external W/G.

He is venting and I'm using 2ports, do what you like. But the W/G was designed with 2 ports why not use them.

Yes you drill and tap and put a vacuum fitting there.

Using both ports with an EBC increases the stability of the boost controller, it is basically using pressure from teh bottom to open but equal pressure from the top to keep it closed. Then it vents excess pressure from the top to allow it to open and stop boost at that point.

When you just use the bottom one, you are basically making an EBC function as a MBC which defeats the purpose because now your other features are not as accurate as they would be using both ports.

Ok I see you are using the Profec E-01 from your profile.

Run a vacuum line from a boost source to the inlet of your boost control solenoid(leave it a litte long because you need to put a T-fitting on this line)

Run a vacuum line from the outlet of the boost control solenoid to the TOP of the wastegate.

Now put a T-fitting in the boost source line. Run a vacuum line from the T-fitting to the BOTTOM port of the wastegate
