Tial 38mm external wastegate leave both ports opened?

Hi I just got my PR o2 housing with external wastegate and installed it.

I just had a quick question. I am using the Black and Green to achieve the .9bar

Looking at this picture

and reading the instructions on the side it says to "leave the top ports opened"

Am I supposed to do that? I have a plug on the side that is labeled top port and then I have open the very top near the tial symbol.

You will leave both of the top air ports open and hooked up to nothing. If you want to run .9 bar of boost then you will hook up one of the lower air ports directly to a boost source and use the supplied screw/plugs to block off the other lower air ports. You could cap off the 2 top ports if they give you enough plugs for it but the top ports can be left open and the bottom ports not being used need to be capped off.

Also I did a BLT and I have air leaking out of the ports that are blocked off. That should not happen right? I did not use teflon because I thought it was not needed.

There should be copper crush washers on top and bottom of the banjo. If they're there, tighten them more for it to seal. Make sure they're clean too. Dirt can be trapped in between causing a leak in the seal.

Actualy my instructions say a bit of blue lick tite...on the plugs
