Yes, That is an evo 16g. Look at the turbine housing at the top on the flange where the manifold bolts to, It is not a regular ''square'' like normal 16g's. Also Look at the o2 housing/turbine housing flange, The look at a normal one.

Alright i was just wondering because I was bidding on the Evo III 16g gt then i became aware that. Well thanks for the help now i feel safe about buying this. I really appreciate it.

if it were me, Id ask the guy if it was polished because there is no lettering on it, and Yea its a evoIII but still just ask, could be an evoIII gt or somthing you may not want.

its an evo im 100% sure, up to you watever you wanna do, I cant tell if its a GT or a real evo, up to you, its a good deal though..

yea i looked at it I dont think its a good idea to even buy it, I wouldnt buy a used turbo to begin with, if you want one just get a new one, but I wouldnt get a EvoIIGT (from what I hear, do a search if you dont already know)

I looked at the compresser cover and for some reason the writing on it doesnt look like anything Ive seen, could anyone back me up? mine looks a bit different...

Just get the $500, and get a new one you dont know how that guy took care of it,

there are no cracks/leaks, etc., no shaft play, and it is not a mitsu turbo, the good thing however is that xs replaces their turbos without a reciept so you basically get like a yr warrenty

this is what he just wrote me

Up to you, Idk what to tell you, if it has a warrenty I guess its good. Up to you.

Good luck
if ya need anythin Pm me anytime:thumb:

That comp cover has no TDO5H stamp on it. Also, on the front of the comp cover it narrows near the outlet. It doesnt resemble any the pics of GTs and normal 16Gs ive seen. They appear to be 16g blades however.

I would steer clear of this thing and pick up a new 16g from one of our many aftermarket performance comapanies. The 16G's are everywhere and prices sure are competitive.
