They say to bend the coolant lines but I'm afraid of bending it too much and kinking it... Does anybody know any other option to make it work? :confused:Also how should I route the oil return line? :confused:Does anybody have any pictures from it? Any help will be greatly apreciated !

I don't think you have to bend the water lines that much and if thats the case just swap them around and see if that works, and if not just buy a longer tube and extend them. As for the oil return line what you mean how you should route it? It should be just like the stock one, from the turbo to the oil pan!

Buy new coolant lines they're like 30 bucks when I installed my e3 I had to kink the original lines a little bit to fit. After I got a ss feed line I decided to do new water lines as well with the brand new lines they fit perfectly fine with no hassle at all.

I'll try swaping them around, What I mean by route is though the front of the motor or side of the motor...

Should I buy 1g water lines? Mine is a 2g....

I just put a 16G on my 2G.

I just bend the water line and slipped the hose over it, no trouble at all.

For the oil feed line I had a SS line made and fed it from the head to the turbo instead of the oil filter housing, I just plugged the oil housing.

i didn't want to bend either, so both mine are facing down under the turbo, got longer hose and extended them, the oil line goes : top of turbo-banjo bolt/crush washers - to oil filter housing with the elbow fitting.

I put a steel rod with a diameter slightly less than the water lines inside the line and slowly bent them. Do it gently so as not to put any sharp bend in the line. As mentioned, a bit longer length of hose and you should be good.

Thank you guys ! I got the coolant lines swapped around and bent a little... seems like it's gonna work fine!:thumb:
Does anyone have the oil feed line from filter location to turbo? I'd need to see a picture of it installed because I don't know where to route it from... The motor is on a stand right now so it's easyer to do it the right way before I drop it in the engine compartment and have to change stuff...

Here's a picture of the braided SS oil feed line from the Oil Filter heading towards the turbo..

Thought he was having trouble with the return line?

If the return line isn't fitting you could buy a new one that does fit or you could use the stock ones but you have to file the holes out just a bit. You also have the chance of having an oil leak.

yeah that pic should help you, i dont recall bending though too much. Dont want to kink it
