So I just got my evo 9 ofh and I had a few adaptors shipped with it! now I need info on what ports to use for what sensors!

This right port I was planning to run my remote mounted oil pressure sender and possibly temp sensor aswell depending if im allowed to as its not got any flow of oil so temp might not read right, but i dont know if thats true or not?

This middle one I was going to run both the stock dummy and stock pressure sender.

This left port I had planned to run the the remote oil temp sensor but I can save this if i am allowed to run the temp and pressure sender together in a T

any help on the correct port to use would be great as i dont know the flow patters or what flows where on this ofh.

list of sensors im mounting are! remote oil pressure and oil temp and stock pressure and dummy light so 4 sensors total,

Will you ever need/want to feed your turbo from the OFH? If so, one of the 3/8" BSP ports would be required for that.

Any reason you want to keep the factory sensors when you have real ones now (mainly oil pressure)? I had considered doing this so that all of the gauges in the factory cluster worked, but decided against it since they were useless anyways, especially now that I know the true oil pressure.

It doesn't matter which port(s) you use for which. I've got my turbo fed from one of the 3/8" ports and the pressure senders (one for gauge, one for logging) fed from the 1/8" port. I don't see why you couldn't run a pressure and temp sender off of a tee.

Ive read and asked someone and they said i cannot run a T for the oil temp sensor as it does need flow and it will be inaccurate so i am no longer going that route!

as for the turbo feed. not just yet bit as im still planning on what turbo to run but i can switch things around when that is needed.

As for the stock sensors i really only wanted to keep the stock dummie light dont know why but thought if its there and i dont see the gauge then the light would help me just in case? so if thats the case maybe i should just use the 1/8 bsp port for the oil pressure and the left port for the temp sensor and and not install the rest then.

OH and sorry to bump that was not my intention

Want to ask a porting question and didnt want to raise an old thread up but my question is I wanted to port the oil relief hole a little before I put it on only about 1mm around so not alot but I still have balance shafts installed so if I did the light porting will I cause an issue with oil pressure being to low?
