Hello guys , i posted another thread in regards a problem i have with my radiator fans turning on earlier. But after some testing i came to the conclusion that my electrical system has no problems and everything should function normally. My car is a 1999 2G Spyder and i swapped the ECU with a 1997 EPROM with ECMLink.
Before the swap my fans worked as they should, but now every time i start the car no matter if its cold or warm after 15-20 seconds both fans turn on and stop only when i shut off the car. I swapped back to my original ECU and with it i have no problems. I tested the 1997 EPROM ECU in a friends 2g Eclipse and the same thing happens the fans turn on after 15-20 seconds. So is this a defect in the ECU or is it pre-programmed like that and if its pre-programmed can i revert it to stock parameters..
