I was listening to my radio thru my car while installing my mudflaps, and my battery died.. :ohdamn: i knew it would happen, but my radio died in the garage so yeah, listening to music and drinking a few beers while working on your dsm for what ever reason is a must.:thumb:

Anyways; I pushed my car out of the garage onto the driveway and had my other car jump her. Well, i got back in and all electrical things work, but not my radio WILL NOT turn on.. I checked the fuse, and thats good..

What could it be? Are they're any other fuses that could've blown that could cause the radio not to work?

Did you check the fuse in back of the radio. Sometimes there is one inline on the power wire itself which would also be in back of radio. So which fuses have you checked so far? There is also a radio fuse under the hood in that fuse box, if you didn't know already. I would inspect the one in back of radio most likely your problem fuse. Hope that helps some.

The one under the hood is the only one I checked so far.. Is there one inside the car under the driver as well? Also ill try checking the one on back of radio as soon as I get home from class.

I don't believe there is one inside. Also depends on who hooked up your headunit they could have tapped into one there for some reason. Im pretty sure the one behind the radio is your problem seen it happen before.

Evil Little Bastard ... The cig lighter fuse is shot.. Going to get another one right now, ill post back and resolve this thread hopefully for future reference.

Lol atleast you found it!! I was thinking what else is tied in by the radio, but I'm at work so I couldn't go out to my car and look quick. I think I've had that same one blow with the same end results before LOL. That's one of the first things I learned in auto school check ALL fuses first.

Told u ;) I wish I would of looked quicker i could've told u it was the cig. When something like that happens. Don't search for a certain fuse just go over them all. I use test light makes it a lot easier.
